Training Game
As we are unable to raise a team for the 10th of Feb , a training game has been arranged on Tuesday 13th Feb to ensure everyone stays in tip-top condition as we near the end of the season , Derbyshire Fire Service Allstar XV are providing the opposition, we are aiming for a 7.30 ko please make every effort to attend and play in this prestigious game, showers and copious amounts of alcohol will be available afterwards, as an incentive some current and an ex Buxton player maybe turning out for the Fire Service

Excellent. Don't wish to be pedantic but can you have "current ex Buxton Rugby players"? Sounds a bit ilogical to me. Will you be attending court on saturday to let everyone know the details?
What's this fixation you lot seem to have with myself and court, I attended after the Knutsford game and have since been working.

Mike is sorting a ref out ,Tay is sorting the club out ,beer ,food ( hopefully ) ect
This game will give the Fire Service team a chance to try people in different positions, especially those that have only just started playing, and allow the whole team to play in a more relaxed frame of mind seeing as the only other friendly games they play seem to be against the police , which in it's very nature isn't a friendly game.
But no much more than that ! it gives me a chance to have a beer after a game after working the last fuckin' umpteen Saturdays
and remember if God didn't want us to be happy he wouldn't have invented Rugby balls,Motorbikes and women to play with and beer to drink be happy 8-)
